Whether they were trailblazers in their fields, mentors to the next generation or lifelong supporters of Temple’s mission, we remember them with deep gratitude.

George Daniel

George Daniel, CLA ’84, LAW ’88, was recently appointed commissioner of the National Lacrosse League. He previously served as the league’s deputy commissioner, having been appointed in October 2000. The NLL plays professional indoor lacrosse and consists of 11 teams across North America, including the Philadelphia Wings.

Thomas DePietro

I am a PY 4 student on rotations and <br />currently at State Senator Shirley Kitchens office. One of the things I accomplished <br />obviously with her help was to pass Senate Resolution 387. Anthony Comerota

Anthony J. Comerota, M.D., MED '74, has been named one of the &quot;25 Most Influential Vein Care Professionals in the World&quot; by Vein Magazine. The magazine surveyed physician subscribers worldwide who specialize in treating patients with vein disease.

A. Datz

A. Harold Datz, LAW '72, managing partner of the Philadelphia law firm Weitz, Garfinkle, Datz, LLC, was appointed to serve as vice-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention. Datz was also appointed to serve as co-chair of the Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. The committee focuses on all methods of alternative dispute resolution, as well as the most valuable settlement and negotiation techniques.

Joseph Coradino

Joseph F. Coradino, president of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) Services and PREIT-Rubin, Inc., was honored by the American Heart Association on Saturday March 14 at the annual Heart Ball. He received the Heart of Philadelphia award, presented annually to an individual whose leadership and heartfelt dedication to the community represents the pinnacle of philanthropic and professional excellence. Coradino is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Temple University with a B.A. in Urban Studies.
