Young Alumni Association

If you graduated from Temple University, and you’re 30 or younger, you’re already a member of the Temple University Young Alumni Association (TUYAA), a vibrant and supportive network of more than 51,000 young alumni ready to help you navigate life after Temple.

Getting involved with TUYAA helps you carry the best parts of being a student into your 20s. Whether you want to build community, grow professionally or just keep Temple close in this next chapter of your life, TUYAA is here to help. You’ll access an expansive network of young Owls who are navigating similar milestones and are excited to share what they’ve learned. From game day gatherings to career-building workshops, community service outings to shaping the TUYAA experience with a role on the alumni board, TUYAA offers countless experiences to help you stay connected with your fellow Owls long after graduation.

Join the Young Alumni Board.

Ready to give back to the Temple community with other Owls who are as passionate about Temple as you? Members of the alumni board, a select group of motivated young alumni volunteers, are enthusiastic and vocal ambassadors for Temple ready to give back as leaders in their community. They help to shape the TUYAA experience through participation in quarterly meetings, promotion of TUYAA to their networks and by hosting events throughout the year. Volunteers are encouraged to serve a two-year commitment.

Winter

Young Alumni Professional Development Conference
This annual conference provides young Owls with a chance to connect and learn as they take flight from the nest. The conference offers a keynote address and breakout sessions on the kinds of questions that young alumni often face early in their careers. 

Spring

Cherry and White Networking Night
Cherry and White Networking Night during Temple Made Days is an exciting evening of connections and celebration with Temple’s vibrant alumni community. Networking can sometimes feel intimidating, but we make it fun and accessible! Attendees enjoy facilitated games and activities to break the ice, win Temple swag and prizes, and make meaningful connections in a dynamic atmosphere. 

Summer

Morgan’s Pier Summer Takeover
The Temple Young Alumni Association takes over Morgan’s Pier for a fun and casual happy hour! Guests and volunteers are encouraged to connect with fellow Owls, expand their network and enjoy drinks with beautiful waterfront views. This event is the perfect chance to relax and express your Temple pride. 

Fall

Homecoming & Family Weekend
Homecoming & Family Weekend is a celebration of all things cherry and white! Join us for a full week of exciting events that culminate in our biggest tailgate of the year and the Homecoming football game.
